The 7th Nov outing, planned to a minimal, was a raving success!
The day started with lunch at Pizza Hut (Plaza Sing outlet) where fellow K2Pians discussed about world issues (aka bebual world). With Chong’s absence, there was no sociological talk. Instead it was mainly F.O.S (Full of Solutions) to the never-ending problems (Cry for World Peace!).
As we gained strength in numbers, we proceeded to Marina Square where we partake in K2P’s team bowling challenge. Up for stake is…MALE EGO/PRIDE. Team Juggernauts comprised of Faz, Muk and Noor. Team Al-lembik was filled with Wan (HAHAHAHA!), Chong and Hoirul. The game started with a slow start for JJ (nickname for juggernauts) while Lembys took off with a flying start with CHong’s spinning balls..yeah u heard it right..CHong’s spinning ballss.. :p Muk and Wan upped the tempo matching each other’s strike. Wan became distracted and Muk managed to pull of a stunning double! Team JJ steadily increased their lead with exhilirating performances from Muk, Faz and Noor who knocked a couple of strikes and spares. Team JJ emerged the victor (Singing to the chant of ‘We are the champions!!’) while team Lembys was left moaning…All was not lost for Lembys as Chong notched the MVP award with a stunning late Turkey (Christmas’s coming eh).
The game ended well and we proceed (7 ppl in car) to Minds Cafe @ Boat Quay. Deep in his sleep in the train was our fellow comrade Naz..who had just completed his night shift duty. At Minds Cafe, it wasn’t all brains at work. Games got physical, and couple of times security was called to ease the physical aggression of 8 K2Pians over games of Taboo, etc etc…Many times we were called to change places after damaging the tables and spilling water but we persevered. The game ended with a brilliant strategy game of Tika (tak silap ar). The partnership of a social work and electrical engineering graduate (Noor & Naz) was too hot to handle *sizzles* as they brilliantly outplayed and outlast the remaining pairs of hopefuls to emerge as champions!! At the end of the game, all faces were cramped (muka cramp) due to too much thinking!!.
Dinner was divine at a Turkish restaurant @ arab street. Seriously my memory ain’t that good cuz i can’t remember the name..haha! We wrapped the day with Taqabballah minna wa minkum and proceeded back home to rest in our laurels..
Note: A lil bit of exaggeration here and there… he he he…
On 12.07.09, fellow K2Pians have to put aside all our rigorous weekend training regime to witness our very first K2P wedding!!!
“Semoga Allah memberikan keberkatan kepada kamu, semoga Allah memberikan keberkatan ke atas kamu dan semoga Allah menghimpunkan kamu berdua dalam kebaikan” Amin.

White Sands Primary: With “millions” trudging the field last sunday, K2P looked set to start their new campaign with a blast as they geared themselves with a new jersey, the return of their star midfielder from Sweden and a couple of new faces. The day was however marred by an incident at Telok Kurau Sec where the warden refused to allow match to proceed due to bad weather. K2P and opponent subsequently pilgrimed to White Sands Primary after some superb recceeing by SNHA.
The game started scrappy as both teams tried to adjust to the small playing field and tiny goalposts. K2P soon found their rhythm and gained control of the midfield marshalled by Noor Latasa (Ewah!). With him defending deep, the rest of K2P attackers were allowed to run riot at the opponent’s defence. Fazli and Fadzli were impressive darting down the flanks terrorizing the opponents. Naufal was at his usual best with his sublime skills. It wasn’t long before K2P broke the deadlock with a maginificent cross in by Fazli which was connected by Fadzli who cooly headed the ball in. K2P 1 - WLT 0
The game went on with WLT gaining momentum and seeking for an equalizer. The K2P defence comprising of Bobby, Raiyan, Zaki and Daud was however rock solid. At the half hour mark that an interesting incident happened. A bird latched onto Wan Loba’s shirt thinking it was a pirate’s bird and refused to fly off, not until it smelled zola’s hand. :p
The bird proved to bring some luck to K2P. When the game resumed play, Noor Latasa powered in a header from a Fazli corner. 2-0.
The game was equally dominated in the 2nd half with both teams squandering multiple chances. K2P ex-captain Alfian was almost impressive with his dribbling if only he didn’t slip at every turn. WLT pulled one back in the 80th minute with a screaming left foot shot. K2P defence however proved to be too impenetrable as Raiyan and Azmeer? toiled their new jerseys to protect the posts. Final score K2P 2 - 1 WLT.
Noor Latasa
“It was a great game. I think i’m fitting in perfectly as a defensive mid-fielder.”
Fazli
“It’s too damn hot here!”
